Landscape Consultants

Lawn Management Company has been providing professional landscape management services for over 35 years. At LMC we build long-term relationships with every one of our Clients by delivering beautiful landscapes and unmatched value through cost-effective management services. Landscape Consultants (Account Managers) play a key role in the success of our business. We are looking to add valuable LCs to our team, send us your resume!

Landscape Consultants are the main point of contact with the customers.

Expectations:

  • Operations- Walk and inspect job sites with Operations Manager and crew. Set the expectations and monitor the performance on job site.
  • Customer Service- Be proactive. Routinely check job sites, take pictures to show property managers, and resolve problems quickly. Always deliver what you promise.
  • Sales- Enhancements, renewing contracts, work on budgets, help resolve any past due invoicing.

You will be assigned a portfolio of commercial clients/properties to develop your relationships with, up-sale, and retain.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the horticultural and or landscape industry, in the same or similar role. We are looking for someone who is a team player, self-driven and motivated.

Outside Sales Rep for Residential Tree Service

Certified Arborist A Plus ** ISA Certified Arborist A PLUS

Full-time, Salary plus Commission. Must bring an existing set of residential clients with them.
The Sales Rep will be responsible for maintaining existing clients while also expanding the company's client base within existing markets, as well as establishing new opportunities for growth in untapped markets. The candidate we seek must be a strong self-starter who has proven expertise working alone or as part of a small team to locate and develop new business.

Using a variety of marketing tools, the Sales Rep will be expected to prospect and service accounts in the Greater Houston communities. Strong ability to consultatively identify client requirements and to be able to convert those requirements into closed sales is required.

Job Requirements

  • To fit in at Embark Tree Care, you must be friendly, must care about the team winning more than individual accomplishments, must care about your clients and you must feel tremendous person responsibility to provide excellent service.
  • Outgoing, assertive personality recommended
  • At least 3 year of combined face to face sales experience.
  • Background and/or interest in Horticulture, Forestry or Science is preferred
  • High level of commitment to new business development and a proven ability to open new accounts.
  • Effective prospecting, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Possess Honesty and Integrity.
  • High level of personal motivation
  • Effective knowledge of Residential Tree Care & Related Landscape
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Writing detailed proposals.
  • Routine walk-throughs with clients.
  • Ability to ensure details of jobs sold are clearly communicated to the team, ensure jobs are on schedule and under budget.
  • You are ultimately responsible for each of your clients paying for services rendered.
  • Valid Driver's License with Clean, Insurable Record
  • ISA Certified Arborist A PLUS

Certified Arborists

LMC is seeking qualified Certified Arborists with BS degrees in forestry, urban forestry, or related fields of study. These positions have been created in order to service our expanding client base and require a valid driver's license.

Arbor Crew Leaders

Climbs large trees to perform and manage all aspects of pruning, trimming and removals. May also be required to prune shrubs and small trees. Must demonstrate superior abilities in all aspects of the job. Must be capable of working without supervision and managing jobs from start to finish. Supervise both small and large crew sizes. Extensive experience required. Must speak some English and have a valid driver's license.

This position requires a minimum of three years field experience and a thorough understanding of tree trimming and removal techniques.

Supervisors

Responsible for all field operations over a given number of Crew Leaders. Highest levels of safety, field education, and operations experience. General Management interface. Must possess superior communications, training, and field management skills. Position includes excellent benefits with medical and dental, 401K, and more. This position requires a valid driver's license.

Climbers

Climbs large trees to perform pruning, trimming and removal. May also be required to prune shrubs and small trees. Must demonstrate superior abilities in all aspects of the job. Must be capable of working without supervision when necessary. This position requires a minimum of one-two years field experience and a good knowledge of tree trimming. Positions includes excellent benefits with medical and dental, 401K, and more.

Landscape Crew Leaders

This position requires someone with good people skills, and the ability to communicate both in English and Spanish. Primary goal is to oversee maintenance of properties from start to finish. Has to have a good knowledge of maintenance equipment operation, and care of landscape shrubs and turf. Must take pride in a job well done as we work on some of the most beautiful landscapes in Houston.

Must have a minimum of two-three years experience as a landscape maintenance crew leader and a valid driver's license.

Plant, Turf & Tree Care Pesticide Technician

Position requiring a desire to work outdoors, knowledge of tree I.D., pest and diseases, as well as practical experience in tree spraying, fertilization and IPM. Position will require applying control measures and fertilization applications to trees and shrubs on an independent basis to upscale private and large corporate properties. Spray operator licensing desired. CDL and/or Arborist Certification a plus.
